What is the Turkish-American Religious Foundation (TARF)?

Turkish-American Religious Foundation (TARF), a nonprofit religious and charitable organization founded in New York State on October 18, 2001. Its purpose is to serve our nation and all Muslims, especially the Turkish-American community in the United States, and to meet their religious, social, cultural, and educational needs.

Its primary goal is to provide religious services through mosques and Islamic centers, meet the spiritual needs of society, and provide educational opportunities that will pass on its values to future generations.

Our Fields of Activity

  • Mosques and Islamic Centers:
    It builds, maintains, and provides religious services at mosques throughout the United States.
  • Religious and Educational Services:
    It aims to introduce Islam to both Muslims and members of different faiths by organizing Quran courses, Islamic lessons and various educational programs.
  • Social Solidarity:
    It strengthens unity and solidarity within society by organizing social and cultural events, conferences, seminars and panels.
  • Support for Students:
    Provides scholarships and financial support to Muslim students who want to pursue higher education.
  • Intercultural Relations:
    It contributes to the development of friendly relations between Muslim communities and other faith groups.
  • Charitable Activities:
    It carries out aid campaigns and solidarity programs for those in need.

TARF, With all these activities, it aims to strengthen the presence of both the Turkish-American community and Muslims in the broader sense in America, to build bridges between generations, and to carry the values of society into the future.
